Finally, Trump supporters have a digital place of their own to go and find true love: Trump.Dating. But that is unless you are gay and don’t like white supremacy. The website was especially built to give The President’s die-hard fans a safe space where they can discuss, flirt, and even meet in real life.
The website’s home page sports a couple wearing MAGA hats who are looking for “the America First Partner of your Dreams.” Patriotism and similar political viewpoints are touted as a “base foundation” for a rock-solid relationship, in which both partners should look for what truly matters.
Trump.Dating doesn’t allow gays to sign up, as only straight males and straight females are allowed in. The relationship statuses are varied and include the “happily married” folks as well.
The profiles of the users include info such as interests, physical appearance, race, and height. Trump supporters can use the dating site to look for a partner based on ethnicity, which is rather uncommon for such sites.
Only Right-Leaning People Allowed
Some users on the platform profess their interest in a right-leaning long-term partner. Women describe conservative men they are interested in via the moniker “cowboys”. Some other bios were even more explicit about what they are looking in a future husband.
One woman wrote that she would like to find a good Christian man that has a keen interest in “Trump, guns, and God.” Another woman’s bio says that she would like her man to stay “on [her] side of the border”.
“Break down the wall around my heart… and make Mexico pay for it!,” another female user wrote. However, not many users of the website hold these beliefs, while some accounts’ bios had so many errors that they were probably created as a joke.
Nevertheless, the number of users sporting a MAGA hat in their profile pic suggests that the website is indeed mostly populated by Trump fans.
